Dear Jessica,

This is to inform you that you have been selected as an alternate for the
Art History Seminar in Rome in Spring 2004. The competition was
particularly keen this year and – as you know – only twelve applicants
could be considered. I will, however, contact you should students withdraw
from the program.

I would like to thank you for your interest in the Art History Program in
Rome and encourage you to apply another year, either for this or another
program.

So maybe I'll drop that ENVIR class next quarter and feel even more like a slacker by taking 13 credits...we'll see what happens with that...
