(Long post).
Yesterday was awesome.
Huskies won on Thursday against the Cougs...wonderful, I must say. Must See TV was totally awesome (except I don't watch Donald "My Hair Doesn't Move" Trump's The Apprentice -- not really interested, honestly). Joey trying to speak French was just HILARIOUS...
It's so weird...like 3 weeks of not really doing anything with people outside the family, everyone called me yesterday...totally random. But anyway...
Yesterday didn't do much before like 5pm. Dropped the kids off at the lab, then drove over to the Red Robin by the U-Bridge to meet up with Jeremy, Josh, Trent, Sean, Erin, and Jared. Yay for dinner. Saw Caroline there which was totally random...(wow, I repeat myself a lot...that needs to stop). Had good convos yesterday, the Webbs finished off the food I didn't eat:
Josh curiously eyeing the clucks and fries I didn't finish off: Are you going to eat that? Jeremy: I'm so full...oh, I want some chicken strips!
I must add that watching Josh trying to get ketchup outta a brand new bottle with a piece of chicken strip in his mouth was quite entertaining...took him awhile...I don't even remember if he ever got any out...
But even better was them trying to take a pic with one of the waitresses because she was cute so that they could show Tom and make him jealous...Webbs crack me up. We all refused to take the picture, so they had some other RR waitress take it...man, that girl was embarrassed. LOL!
Left my car in the RR parking lot, hoping that it wouldn't get taken away or anything and we caught a bus downtown. Webbs, Trent, and I headed to Bartell's for Mentos (the fresh maker) and a heart box of chocolates that Trent so beautifully offered Jeremy across the street on the back steps of Westlake. I think the box said something like "Be My Valentine."
Headed over to Starbucks where we had some much needed caffeine (at least on my part) where we met up with Sean, Erin, and Jared who bee-lined for Starbucks once we got off the bus. Chilled for a bit...and watched those chocolates disappear...had an interesting convo about if we had to shop at one place for the rest of our lives, where that'd be. Then it turned into what if we lived there. Apparently Sean wants to live in a warehouse or something...good luck with that, Chunk.
Walked around Pottery Barn which was fun. Off to Barnes & Noble where I saw some ridiculous "Learn How to Speak Chinese" books...I looked at the Cantonese ones, and dude...they were terrible. You'd have to be a linguist to understand how they wanted you to pronounce those words. Terrible. I had problems reading how they wanted to have people say things, and I speak the language. Bad books, I don't recommend.
Gathered the rest of the posse -- and I still can't believe that Josh got Muscle (the magazine).
Headed upstairs and watched the wonderful movie Miracle about the 1980 Olympic champions. Awesome. I think I'll get that on DVD when it comes out...Disney seems to fare pretty well with these inspirational hockey movies...first was The Mighty Ducks and now Miracle. And speaking of Trump-esque hair, Kurt Russell had quite the do. His pants were awesome. And the Russian coach's eyebrow...good God that thing was disturbing. hehehe...I give it 10 outta 10 miracles.
Bus back to Steven's, those chocolates got demolished...only a few left by the time we got back to B116. Played Trivial Pursuit, which was awesome. Porn Star(s) Jenna Jameson a.k.a. Josh and Sean won. Car Ramrod was next a.k.a. Erin, Jared, and me, and the other guys...I totally don't remember what team name they came up with a.k.a. Trent and Jeremy came in last. Why is it that I can answer quite a few of the questions that aren't mine to answer but as for my own...doesn't work so well. Sigh...we had a ton of fun nonetheless.
Got home at 3am, crashed, and woke up for lunch at 10:30am with the family...one last time to see Adrian, Jami, and Alex before they go to VA for a week. Sigh...at work now. I Love Sushi, aunt's house, then B&O with Jarf and Twiggy. Have wonderful Saturday. Sonics game Sunday!
