So it's been more than a month since I last posted...

I graduated with a from the University of Washington with a B.A. in Art History. Thank God I'm outta there!

I'd say that it rained about 95% of the time during Commencement. Rather ridiculous, but made for a memorable day nonetheless. I was lucky in that I brought an umbrella along so I didn't get too wet. Others were not as fortunate. Bad organization led to too many people looking like drowned rats. I had thought that they would provide us (the graduates) with ponchos, but no. They did no such thing. And when it rained and people went on the sidelines to grab ponchos, I'd say they ran out after about 100 or so were handed out.

And when they finally came back with the extra ponchos for everyone it was too late. It had already poured and was way too late for people to even attempt to keep dry. I took some pics with the fam and friends, and headed home after nearly 3 hours in the rain.

Had a big BBQ at my house (in the rain) after Commencement. We had it in the garage, and I think that everyone had a good time. Lotsa food, family, friends, and some drinks make for a fantastic time.

So I basically haven't been doing anything as I am not working nor am I in school. Pretty much been sleeping, watching TV/movies, hanging out, and spending time with the fam.

Went to Canada over the weekend, and that was...nothing special.

My birthday's on Monday and I'm planning on going to Jillians (or elsewhere) on Friday/Saturday and then having a BBQ at my house on Sunday. So if you're reading and in the area, you are more than welcome to come! Just contact me first so we know how much food to prepare!

Here's a recap of movies I've seen the past couple months (I don't know if I've posted about them before, so bear with me):

Kingdom of Heaven was good. Orlando Bloom is way hot (but everyone knows I love him) and it was interesting. I think it tried to be too PC though. Gladiator was better in terms of story, acting, and entertainment value. But I would recommend watching it.

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy was entertaining, but I think I had different expectations. Not one of those thinking movies (not that I thought it was going to be a thinking movie). Rent it. You'll be entertained and the FX are pretty cool. Plus I heart Mos Def.

Star Wars Episode III was ok. I think that the last 30 mins were the best part of the movie cuz it tied it together with Eps 4-6 (in my opinion, MUCH MUCH MUCH better than 1-3 -- don't listen to those stupid commercials on TV saying Ep III is the best).

Crash has got to the best movie I've seen in a long time. It was amazing. Everything about the movie was incredible. I don't really have anything to say about it but watch it and that I loved it. I recommend it to EVERYONE and I'm definitely getting it on DVD when it comes out.

Batman Begins was better than I expected. I would recommend it. Christian Bale being one good looking man doesn't hurt either. Although he kinda reminds me of the Joker in the movie and his voice is real funny when he talks in the bat suit.

Madagscar was pretty damn funny. "I like to move it move it..."

Howl's Moving Castle was good, but not nearly as good as Miyazaki's previous works. Totoro, Laputa, Nausicaa, and Kiki are prolly my faves.

I don't remember if I've seen other movies not listed here, but if you want my opinion on them and it's not on the list, just ask me.

Oh, and if anyone wants to watch Mad Hot Ballroom, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, and (the upcoming) War of the Worlds, tell me. I'm down.
