HAPPY 8TH BIRTHDAY JACKIE!!!

Oh my baby sister's getting so big!!!

On another note...

So much goddamn drama last night!!

I was expecting it to be a fun, chill, hangout night, but that was not in the cards...

My day started off slow...went and got my readings for my AH seminar, took a nap, went to dinner with Sean and Erin, Candace and I watched TV then went to B&O for dessert, checked my email at the apt, and then once I got to the boys' house...shit went down.

Domestic dispute, drunkards, Mitch wandering around in his underwear, psycho homeless guy named Waco, and drama up the ass...enough to last me awhile, I'd say. Plus I was the only sober one the whole night.

Ended up crashing there and now here I am at work...fan-freakin-tabulous.

Let's try not to have so much drama anymore, ok? Yeah? That'd be great and highly appreciated.

Sunny even called me and left a vmail this morning saying sorry I got dragged into the mess...

I just went to watch a movie...ended up watching more than that...

Who loves baseball?

I DO!!! I DO!!!

Not only did Edgar get the Roberto Clemente award, but the Sox are up 3-0! It's so exciting!!

Been sick as of late...for about 2 weeks, I'd say. Quite disgusting, I hate being sick, and sure hope I didn't pass it on to anyone else...

Went to Daniel's Broiler tonight and ordered the prime rib. Alas, I had not known that it would be a freakin' 2-3" cut of meat!!! Otherwise I woulda split it with someone! I'm pretty sure I got the biggest cut at the table, too. Maybe the waiter liked me...or something...

So for the next day or two I will be eating prime rib. Mmm...it's so good....

Saw The Motorcycle Diaries with Candace last weekend and that was fun. Good movie, went to B&O for a little dessert, and had a great time. Haven't done something relaxing like that in awhile so it's a nice change of pace.

And that's about it for now...GO SOX!!!!

I LOVE THE RED SOX!!!!

What a wonderful series...to come back when you're down 3 games in the ALCS?!

History's been made tonight.

Was it a great game?

YES.

Was it a great series?

ABSO-FUCKIN-LUTELY.

Cards or Astros? That's the new question.

So I haven't posted, blogged, rambled, whatever in awhile...

It's been many many many nights of using (or abusing) my 21-I-promise-I'm-legal-and-that's-me-in-the-picture privileges.

Last Friday...woah...that was only a week ago...Chelsie organized a surprise party for the Webbs and I made white chocolate cheesecake...it got demolished. Drunken happiness abounds...

Huskies Saturday (we won a TERRIBLE game) and hey, I'll take a win any way we can get it.

Seahawks Sunday -- good game, thought we were going to win, everyone slacks off, secondary didn't do their jobs, we lose in OT. Bastards.

School is not going to be the best this quarter. Don't get me wrong, I like my classes (except for this damn HSTAS 462 class at the moment -- I just spent about 3 hours doing a hand-drawn map of SE Asia locating 32 different places) but there's a shitload of work involved.

200-300 pages of reading per week plus a weekly paper, 20 page research paper and 30 min presentation on said paper November 22nd, midterm on 10/27, midterm 11/9, final on 12/1, 8 page research paper 12/7, final 12/9, and 10 page research paper 12/10.

Probably doesn't sound like the worst schedule, but when you top it off with 20+ hours of work per week with no time to do homework at work...I'm in for a hurting.

So we'll see how this quarter pans out...

Why so much work when I was talking about cutting back on work before? Cuz my aunt/boss has Stage 3B breast cancer and will be doing chemo pretty soon. Shit happens, isn't it great?!

So another friend/family member has cancer and yeah...I seem to be surrounded by cancer almost everywhere I go. Fan-freakin'-tabulous. Add a little (more like a lot of) family drama and I'm getting a little...not really stressed...but somethinged out. Pressure, maybe? Who knows.

Enough depressing talk.

Tomorrow we're going to Kona Kitchen for Alicia's birthday...you better be there if you know her! I think that the whole ECC/CK gang (plus a couple odd people -- such as myself) will be there.

Saturday is OSU-UW, go Huskies! Can we make it 2-4? Maybe...

At least the Seattle Storm won the WNBA Championship!! 1st champs we've had in 25 years...damn that's a long time. Plus it's the 1st WNBA Champ since the Storm started what...4 years ago?

My uncle got his Sonics tickets yesterday and I've already picked out like 2 games I'm going to within the next couple months...woohoo! That's something to look forward to...front row courtside (seats 5 and 6 if you're gonna try looking for me).

My aunt was kind enough to lend me her tablet pc while my laptop goes to get fixed...oh yes...Sean, I need to backup/put all my files and crap on your computer(s). Unfortunately it won't let me access the Internet...damnit. So Sean's going to try to fix it tomorrow. And if he can't, I'll get my cousin's bf who works for Microsoft to do that. Yeah.

Need to wake up "early/earlier" tomorrow to get another app for SIS (lost mine somewhere), do it, go to class, get an unofficial transcript from MGH, and turn it in. Then another "aunt's" bday party then off to Kona Kitchen with the gang(s).

Take care, be good, be safe, and try to keep your liver intact!

Oooooweeee it's been a GREAT night!!!!!

HAPPY 22nd BIRTHDAY JOSH AND JEREMY!!!!

Sean and I grabbed some Nasai and headed over to the boys' house around 7:30pm.

We ate, chatted with the residents, and headed over in the 2nd wave to The Irish Emigrant.

Pitchers of Mac & Jack's, Hefeweizen, Irish coffees, well drinks, cocktails, shots, Irish Car Bombs, Guinness (but of course), and other items were consumed. I'd say we had about 20-30 people there at one point...

Everyone seemed to have a great time and man, did those boys get drunk!! Especially Josh...he was soooooo drunk! Oh good times!

We got to the Emigrant around 8:10pm or so and headed down (drunkenly) to Earl's around 10:30pm? Since Josh was having such a fabulous (inebriated) time, we didn't get into Tommy's or Earl's, but he (sorta) sobered up enough to be able to get into American (to pee), and then on to Finn's!

More alcohol consumed, barfing commenced, water consumed, dancing, listening to Evan's jazz...it was great.

I got in the middle of quite a few Webb sandwhiches/other people sandwhiches tonight...being pretty sober (compared to the rest of the crew) while watching the rest of the drunkards is great. I had a fantabulous time and I'm so glad everyone had fun!! I made it my job to keep those boys hydrated...go water!!

After Finn's we walked Craig home...but he ran off when we got to 11th, so Willie had to chase after him as Jenny, Mitch, Sean, Webbs, Lilly, Nate, and myself watched on. Webbs needed to sober up and a nice walk (but damn it was a long walk...) outside was good.

Josh left a BUNCH of drunk msgs on various peoples phones...if you're lucky, I made an appearance on a few of them. Peeing in the bushes happened a few times...oh to be drunk and a boy. ;)

Eventually we all got home safely and now my feet are a tad sore (I was walking in heels all night), I smell like bar, Josh (someone had to help him walk), and Axe body spray (thanks Willie and Jeremy). Not the best combination, I'd say. Thank God I have a 12:30pm class tomorrow! I'd be hurting if I was the Webbs having 8:30ams....ouch.

School's been fine thus far, my first class of the year was cancelled after sitting in the classroom for 15 mins (I only have 1 class per day) and I have a shitload of reading and paperwriting this quarter. But it's ok...I guess... =P

Candace and I went out last night to Cafe Ladro to read...uh, we only ended up getting about 30 mins of that done...the rest of the 2-3 hours was used to chatty chat chat! Then we got Burger Hut and came back to my place for some Gilmore Girls...I love that show.

Huskies and San Jose State Saturday (oh joy!) and Seahawks on Sunday! Wish I could go to the Seahawks game with my uncle...tickets on teh 49 yard line...damn my job!! Oh well...I'll watch it on gametracker or something...there's no TV and we don't get AM radio reception in the office.

Alright, I'm tired, a bit hungry, and yeah...I need a shower. I smell.

Have a good one, hope you don't have a hangover, enjoy your day and I'll be posting later...

*meow* What's so funny?

So awesome!!! I was there for the historic moment! I love the Mariners...even if they're not doing so well...I am no fair weather/band wagon fan!!!!

|

ICHIRO!!!!!! My last M's game of the season was so wonderful! Ichiro passed Sisler's 84 year old record for most hits in a season (257) by hitting 2 tonight and setting the new record of 259...thus far...there are still 2 games left!! Took pics on the camera phone and I just had a fan-freakin-tabulous time!!!!! WOOOHOOO!!! Let's just hope the M's do better next year...

Went out tonight for Charlene's 21st birthday in Pioneer Square with Sunny, Mitch, Candace, and some other CK folk...good times all around! We went to Tikki Bob's and didn't even have to pay for cover! That was awesome...a little dancing, a little drinking...all around legal fun! =D Sunny got pretty drunk which was entertaining.

Went to Dante's on Tuesday night with the Webbs, Jeff, Tom, Nate, Willie, and Lily...and I beat Jeff at pool, which was fun. Lotsa air hockey played and alcohol consumed (esp since the Webbs and roomies joined the century club before)...

Tomorrow is work and then hitting up some house parties...good times, good times...

And that's it for now, I'm tired and am gonna crash...hasta luego!
