So Thursday after taking Candace to the airport, I went to work, then home for dinner, QFC for cake ingredients, made cheesecake, then sleep.

Friday (yesterday) woke up, went to brunch with Nell at Hi Spot (I love that place), walked and talked, went to Bell Square, did some more walking and talking, then took her home, I went home, made chocolate cake, and off to Al and Roni's for Al's 65th birthday party. Paella, salad, chips and dip, creme brulee, white chocolate cheesecake, and chocolate cake. Lotsa Phase 10, talking, played with Alex for a bit, then home around 1something maybe 2am. While we were having dessert Jami said that I should think about selling my baked goods and that if she were staying in Seattle, she would help me market them. Agnes said that she'd even give me all the seed money I needed...interesting proposition, that one. Something to think about after graduation, I suppose. Sleep is good and I almost forgot how good it is to get more than 6 or 7 hours of sleep a night.

Today work, dinner at Bill and Agnes', and possibly going to see Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind with Erin, Chunk, Kamm, and maybe Kamm's bf -- depends on when dinner's over.

Trent finally updated his site! Gold star for you, buddy. Although you did leave Hut Hut in the lurch...;) Check out Jeremy's site for some convo highlights...lol.

School starts pretty soon...Monday...dear God...but I lucked out and I don't have class on Fridays! Woohoo!!

ART H 400B: Paris: Architecture and Urbanism = TTh 10:00-11:20am

Wow, I think 4 days is the longest I haven't been online in quite some time...pretty sad, huh? And I know that I'm not really posting for anyone but myself since everyone's on break...but here's a recap of the past 3/4/however many days it's been...

Sunday and Monday were pretty drab and boring. Not much to be said there.

Tuesday was my parents' 24th (or 25th, in the eyes of God, as my mother says) anniversary. Yay for my parents! So I baked a chocolate cake, made prime rib, baked sweet potatoes and yukon gold potatoes, had fruit salad, regular salad, bread...some other veggies, rice, ice cream...wow we had a lot of food. But it was good! Picked up Candace from the airport and she came over to my aunt's house for dinner. After dinner Candace, Al, Josh, Jackie, and I played some Phase 10. Then I took her home and went home myself.

Uh...Wednesday was one busy day. Didn't expect it to be so busy, but it was busy nonetheless. Started the day by leaving the house at 12something and going to lunch at Ponti in Fremont for the $12.50 prefixe lunch with Bill, Agnes, Michael, Margaret, and Vicki. That was good...chowder, salmon, and creme caramel. Mmm...after that, Bill, Agnes, and I went downtown to Cartier and waited for Kam. Looked at some AMAZING pieces. Holy crap they were beautiful. I even got to try stuff on! Hehehe...pretty sparkly diamonds and jewels...8) God they were amazing...at astronomical prices, of course. It is Cartier, afterall...got 1 and 1/2 links taken outta my watch, so now it fits quite nicely! Woohoo! Uh...We stayed at Cartier for like 3 and 1/2 hours. Glad they have nice comfy chairs and give you food and drink! Ampanpan (manager of Cartier -- she's awesome...really ridiculously nice lady. And she's genuinely nice, not fakey retail I want your money nice) had ordered this mango and sticky rice dessert from Thai Ginger upstairs in Pacific Place and damn was that good! The mangos were perfect. Had some coffee...and a polaroid of the beautiful Veed necklace she let me try on. Also tried on the Starburst ring and a "C" necklace...wow. Still trying to get my aunt to buy that parrot. Man the sapphier is freakishly beautiful. I've never seen one to pretty. almost 20 carats and it's a NATURAL Burmese Myanmar -- do you know how hard it is to find untreated sapphiers these days?! I'm still dizzy from the sparkliness...

After our stint in Cartier dropped Bill off at WFIB Chinatown branch to get his car...then dropped off Kam at her house, and went back to Bill and Agnes' for a bit of dinner. Had a bite to eat and then went with Bill to the Sonics game vs. the Utah Jazz. Totally wasn't expecting to go to the game last night...my aunt decided that she didn't wanna go so then asked my dad and he said no cuz he's been to so many, asked my brother and he said to let me go...so I went. We won (thank God)...we almost blew a 20pt lead. But we won. And in the process, I got a free Sonics t-shirt! That too was quite unexpected. So you know how the dance team and Squatch will toss shirts to the fans? Well, I guess there had been a shirt tossed behind me or something and as people scrambled to grab it, it unintentionally hit be on the back of my head and landed in my lap. In the process, it knocked my glasses off my face and I was seeing the world through blurry eyes for about a minute until I found them. So that was exciting...

After the game picked up Candace and drove around Seattle for her last time for the next 2 and 1/2 months. Sad! Talked, drove...it was good times. Took her home and I went to bed around 3am. Woke up at 5:50am to get ready to pick Candace up at 6:30am to head on down to the airport. So after checking her in we got Starbucks and sat and talked for a bit...and then had to say good bye! It was sad!! But it's all good, cuz I know that she'll email. RIGHT CANDACE?! ;)

Now I'm at work not really doing anything thank goodness, cuz I'm practically a zombie. Didn't get to say good bye to Trent, but it's all good...cuz I know that he'll email and update his site, right Trent? Oh yes I know my requests are falling on deaf ears, but hey, it never hurts to try, right? Alright, I should get back to doing whatever it was I was doing before.

Take care everyone! Have a wonderful day and to Candace and Trent -- take care, be safe, be good, enjoy the sights...there are so many to enjoy!!! Watch out for those Italian Stallions (or Mares), soak up the culture and atmosphere and remember to send postcards (via Vatican post...Italian post is slow and sucks ass -- honest to the man upstairs! ;)), email, buy cool gifts (hehehe), use common sense and be happy. Oh, and definately go to Easter mass since you'll be there for Easter...it's amazing. And go see the Pope on a Sunday. Then you can say that you've been blessed by Pope John Paul II!

Alright, here ends my blabbing.

Check out Josh's site for an "Ode to Steven's Court" and check out this...for the nice guys.

Went to Target yesterday and bought some stuff for the demo unit...exciting? Kinda, sorta, not really. Weather's been surprisingly nice the past couple days, but I think I have allergies cuz I'm sneezy. =/

I think that Trent needs to do one last post before he leaves...he hasn't updated in forever. If you see him, harrass him until he does. Congrats to Chelsie for graduating! And now she can go out and corrupt the minds of children...with a degree in one hand and pictures and/or videos of Jeremy and Josh's 21 run in the other. ;)

Well, I get to go around and visit EVERYONE'S studio here at the Court and Place tomorrow...we have an all-day fire test to make sure everyone's sprinklers, smoke detectors, and alarm sound system thing works...safety first, everyone! So I'm not looking forward to that, but hey...ya do what ya have to do.

Tuesday is my parents' 24th anniversary (but technically it's their 25th). I love my parents...and it is quite a testament to their love that they've been married for so long and have put up with us three kids! Me in '83, Josh in '88, and Jackie in '96...yeah there's a gap between myself and Baby...13 years! I still remember the day she was born. My mom's water broke at like 2am and then I was pulled outta school (during lunch) to go to Swedish and watch her being born at 12pm on the dot. That little girl is crazy. And I can say that because she's my evil twin born 13 years late. Seriously. You should see pics of me at her age and compare...it's a bit unnerving. =)

I think I might be picking Candace up from the airport Tuesday as well...and then I'll take her out on the town Wednesday since it's gonna be her last day in Seattle (and the States) til she comes back from Rome in June...sad!! Too bad we're not 21 yet...soon, my precious. Trent's leaving the 25th too...UPDATE YOUR SITE, TRENT!! My request is prolly falling on deaf ears...esp since it's Spring Break and no one's online anymore...except me. =p

Alright, enough of this babble...time to finish fixing up the room...prolly hit up UBS later and pick up some Husky items for room decorations...we'll see how that one goes. Take care everyone, and I'll prolly be updating tomorrow...

HAPPY 21ST BIRTHDAY KARINA!!!!

God, everyone's getting so old!!!

Well, not a whole heck of a lot going on...people getting ready to leave for their respective European destinations...bastards. ;) And yeah...

Huskies lost today, which was quite sad...but hell, at least we made it to the tourney!!! Who woulda thought we'd come this far with an 0-5 record in the beginning of the season?! Yeah Dawgs! Now it's time for the Zags to show their stuff (yes Aimee, Andrea, Katrina, Rowena, Maria, Ryan...I said Zags...)! March Madness is awesome. =D

And since I really have nothing else to say...that's it for now! *muah*

HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY, EVERYONE!!!

Dentist appt yesterday...yay for having "big beautiful teeth," as Dr. Halpin likes to call them (my teeth, that is). Down to the Village and A La Francaise for a turkey brioche and raspberry croissant, then Starbucks for some much needed coffee. Work afterwards, then QFC to get tiramisu cake, home, and dinner.

Well, last night had dinner at Bill and Agnes' again, with the usual crowd...plus JoJo, Jami, Adrian, and Alex. Alex is way too adorable. After dinner was home...and I had fallen asleep in the car...it was only 9something. Wow...I don't think that I've been that tired in awhile...

So we got home and I figured I'd go to bed around then...it was 10pm...but then we decided to show my dad the new laptop we bought...it's purdy. Ended up watching more Sex and the City -- damn OnDemand!!! ;) And finally went to bed...late...

Woke up woke up, and it was late...crap. Put the cornbeef on the stove about an hour ago, and we've got about 2 more to go in terms of cooking time. Every year we have cornbeef and cabbage for St. Patty's Day...yay! It's so tasty...I love it. =D Candace and Kairu are coming over for dinner later...then prolly watch a movie or something...we'll see what happens.

So Kathy (the doc who signs out at the lab and who's kids I've babysat many a time before -- Hannah and Gracie are a handful, let me tell you), was talking about needing help for her stepson's rehearsal dinner on Orcas around Memorial Day Weekend...and guess whos services my lovely aunt Kam decides to offer up??!! Kairu's and my own...so while I would've been more than happy to help if Kathy had asked...I'm a little perturbed at the fact that Kam offered up my services, but whatever. If Kathy decides to use our catering services, that'd be pretty cool...I think it'd be fun to start a catering business! ;)

Anyway, cornbeef, cabbage, potatoes, carrots, soda bread, multi-grain bread, salad, rice, Chinese pork dish, ice cream...good dinner, good dinner...a nice combination of Irish and Chinese! hehehe...after dinner watched Eddie Izzard: Dressed to Kill and some Sex and the City. Awesome. Should wake up earlier tomorrow so I can go to Target and buy some stuff for the demo unit at the apts...work after that and then...no idea.

Hope everyone enjoyed St. Patty's Day!!!!! *muah* Yay for celebrating my (nonexistent) Irish heritage! =D

Tuesday, March 16, 2004

Ok...so not much has happened lately, and well, no big deal.

Sunday went to work and was only there for 3 hours since there was nothing to do. Then dropped off Erin's wine foil opener thingy at the boys' apt, watched some bracketology and the recap of Selection...GO DAWGS!!! Who wants to go dancing?! We do!! After that headed to Chinatown for dinner with Eiichi, Leakhana, Naomi, and Eiichi's parents, who came in from Japan. Dinner was good...Naomi's about 6 weeks now and so ridiculously adorable!! I love babies! After dinner went to Al and Roni's to see another baby...Alex is about 18 months now and man is he a cutie. Adrian had just come back from Richmond and so they had dinner there. Met Michael's girlfriend Heather for the first time...she's nice.

Today didn't have to work, so I bummed around watching The Lord of the Rings. Uncle Bill came over and rested for awhile while Aunt Agnes was in a meeting for WFIB. Waited for Jackie to come home and the rest of the fam, had dinner, played Phase 10 with Al (again) and here I am.

My mom pulled my sister's front tooth out tonight...man Jackie was screaming and crying...but now she's all good and quite giddy over the fact that her front tooth's missing. =)

Sleepy but I prolly won't actually get any sleep done for awhile...

Dentist appt tomorrow, then work, then dinner at Bill and Agnes' to see Adrian off since he's going back to Virginny on Wednesday morning...that's it for now. Basically how I'll be spending my Spring Break, I suppose...family and work and sleep.

To all those who still have finals, good luck!! Don't stress! *muah*

Sunday, March 14, 2004

Today was fun!!

Well, after dinner at home, an exciting win over Arizona last night, and another round of Phase 10 was all done...headed over to B116 to see what those boys were up to. Watched a bit of Army of Darkness (III?) and stayed up talking to Sean and Jared about Sean's (psycho) Reno days ;) and stuff...he had a German final at 8:30am the next day, but stayed up talking to us til I left around 2:30ish AM. Craaaaazy. But we had good times.

So I ended up waking up later than I was originally intending to, as I got up around 1something, maybe almost 2pm. Lounging around (not planned), shower and the like, and I was out the door around 2:45pm to go to Kairu's, pick up some things for the fantabulous meal I prepared, and yeah.

QFC -- where I got hit on by one of the guys who works there...that was strange. Then back to the house around 4something and getting ready to cook. Sean and Erin came over around 4:40pm to help me cook...they brought bread and salad. Kairu came over, and the 4 of us cooked...kinda.

Huskies lost to Stanford, which was sad, but it's ok. :) At the beginning of this season, no one thought we'd make it this far, but look at us now! Go Dawgs!

Made lasagne, had bread, salad, and made bread pudding and Rice Krispie Treats (all from scratch) for dinner tonight. (Also had 2 different kinds of ice cream and some whipped cream for dessert too...and no, we didn't eat the whipped cream by itself...we put it on the bread pudding or coffee, if one liked. We're not dumb.) =p

Erik, Heather, Josh, Jeremy, Jeff, Derek, Trent, and Jared came over around 6:45pm or so, hung around, and eventually sat down to dinner around 7:20pm. Yay food!

After eating for like 2 hours, we played some Trivial Pursuit which was fun, but was getting to be a bit on the slow/boring side...Erik and Heather left as they're going skiing on Sunday, so waking up early is a must. Kairu left at that point too, and we started up some Cranium. Fun game.

Played a round and Chelsie came over and was unofficially on Jeremy, Jeff, and Sean's team (Team Douche). Josh, Trent, and Derek's team won (Team Couch) and we started up another game. Round two my team of Erin, Jared, and myself won (go Team Fem!!) and parents and siblings came to "crash the party," as Jackie wanted so much to do. That was around 12:30pm and people were getting tired, and no one (besides me) is done with finals yet, so there's still work (of the academic kind) to be done! So then the teams dispersed and went home.

Thanks for coming, everyone! Jeremy, Josh, Jeff, Trent, Sean, Erin, Kairu, Derek, Erik, Heather, Jared, and Chelsie -- you guys ate food, we talked, hung out, played games...it was awesome. We'll have to do more of that when Webbs and Trent come back from Europe!

A bit of clean-up after everyone left, fam ate some food, then left, and now here I am...hopefully going to bed soon, as I have to work tomorrow (err...today, technically speaking). Thanks again to everyone for coming!

GOOD LUCK ON FINALS!!!! (Candace, don't stress. I will come to the rescue if rescue is needed -- for fun/good times where you can forget about genetics, biochem, and stats for a little bit).

I'm tired and this is me signing off.

Oh, added Chelsie to links...

THANK THE LORD AND PRAISE JESUS, I AM DONE WITH WINTER QUARTER 2004!!!

Oh I'm so happy!! 18 days of Spring Break began at 12:20pm today. Oh this rocks...my socks...;)

Fam came over for dinner last night, and Josh, Jackie, Al, and I played some Phase 10. Al's lost twice in a row so far...he's in a slump! Cards are good.

Heading home home for dinner tonight with the fam (again) and yeah. That should be good. Oh yes...my dad came back on Tuesday with Kam and David...they had fun in Shanghai, Hong Kong, and China. Good times, good times. He brought back my new watch (which my mom says I won't officially get until my birthday in June) -- it's beautiful. Cartier Pasha C...it's purdy. Kam also gave me a pearl necklace which is quite beautiful...I think it's 7mm.

Uh...people coming over for good times tomorrow...gonna have lasagne, salad, bread, and dessert...of which I have no idea what dessert will consist of...and that's about it for now. To those coming over tomorrow, details and plans will be figured out and information will be dispersed at a later time. Hopefully sometime tonight.

And this is me...enjoying my R&R time...altogether now....(sigh of relief)...*Ahhhhh*

Oh thank the Lord the bitch is in the bag!!! =D

After a grueling marathon of paper writing with one hour of sleep, I am finally done with SIS 433/ENVIR 433/SMA 499Q: Root Causes of Environmental Degradation in the Tropics. PHEW! The bitch I am referring to is none other than the massive web of causality paper I had to do. My topic was Central American coffee grown for the specialty market, and man, I could not be happier to be done with it!!! Turned it in in class today, class was fun, last class, we did silly things for our presentation.

So since my 4 page Northern Renaissance paper was due yesterday, now all I have to do is take the Northern Renaissance final tomorrow at 11am, and I am home free baby!!! 2+ weeks of Spring Break! How awesome is that?!

And now...being the ridiculously tired girl that I am...I am going to take a nap until the fam comes over for dinner. More later...prolly in the form of an expanded blog or something...whatever...I need sleep. Now.

Wow, I'm ridiculous.

Trying to work on the crap I need to get done is so not working right now. Instead of researching information on latin american coffee production for the specialty market, I'm reading people's blogs and sites and yeah. Not doing what I'm supposed to be doing.

Take the quiz: "Which American City Are You?"

New York
You're competative, you like to take it straight to the fight. You gotta have it all or die trying.

So excited that Huskies are in the tourny this year...they play UCLA on Thursday. Anyone wanna come watch on the big screen? ;)

Mom, sis, and Kairu shall be making their way over here shortly for dinner...and I'll be trying to work on my papers some more. I hate finals. With a passion...And I still need to get rid...well, not "get rid" of these Girl Scout cookies I have. I meant have someone help me eat them. I've had like 10 so far, maybe. Individual cookies, not boxes. Good grief that'd be insane!

"I met this girl, when i was ten years old
And what i loved most she had so much soul
She was old school, when i was just a shorty
Never knew throughout my life she would be there for me"

--Name that song! And no cheating, Kristen! ;)

The last one was Brad Paisley's "Little Moments."

Alright, let's hope I can get this plane off the ground...

*Disclaimer* This is all my opinion and you have the right to feel however you want about my interpretations...in no way do I have the intention to on with the blog.

Uh...wow.

Friday: Candace, Kairu, and my aunt Teresina came over for dinner. Then Lee Ping and Erin came over for dessert. She's a nice lady, but I still can't really stand her...anyway.

Candace and I met Karina and Marlon at Meridian to watch the 10pm showing of The Passion of the Christ. Uh...wow. That movie is intense. I absolutely do not recommend taking children to watch it because the torture and scourging of the cross are quite brutal and for those faint of heart, close your eyes, plug your ears, and don't watch, or just don't watch the movie cuz it's about 1/2 the movie.

Even when they don't actually show graphic violence, you can still hear the sounds and it makes you shudder. The movie is intense, powerful, and (for some) touches the human spirit so deeply that a few sobs could be heard throughout the audience. There were parts when I didn't think that my own tears would stop falling.

The dialogue is minimal and in Aramaic or modern Latin, so bring your reading glasses. Although it seems strange that there is not much dialogue, it helps convey the emotional aspect of the film through your own pain at seeing the suffering of Jim Caviezel's Christ. Apparently Caviezel had to endure about 7 hours of make up around the end of shooting. Watch the movie or see production stills from the flaying and crucifixion, and you'll understand why...

Can't really think much at the moment...so here are some final (or maybe not so final) thoughts about the movie.

I must say that children and those who are unable to handle graphic violence and bloodshed should not watch this movie. What you take away from the movie is basically influenced by what you take in with yourself. Those watching the movie should have at least some sort of background or understanding of the Gospels, or you might get lost, seeing as how the movie jumps right in at Gethsemane and ends with the Resurrection without much, if any backstory. In addition, there is minimal dialogue, and the dialogue that is in the movie (if one is familiar with the Gospels) is nothing new and basically taken from the Gospels themselves. Many characters are not named, and I believe this might have been intentionally done so as to promote the Gospels and renew peoples interest in the stories of Christ's life, the Bible, and Catholicism (and Christianity) itself.

There are some flashbacks and whatnot, but that's mainly to help people bear the violence that makes up about 1/2 the movie and story.

Wow, this post has taken me 3 days to write. Sad.

Ok, enough talking about The Passion of the Christ. If you wanna know more about how I liked/disliked/whatever felt about the movie, just ask.

Saturday I didn't do much. Work, then taking care of the siblings since my mom went out to dinner with family friends and my dad's in Hong Kong.

Sunday (today): work, then went to Jamba Juice...then Al and Roni's house for dinner. Played with Alex (he's so freakin' adorable), Sydney, caught up with Jami, helped cook, later mom, bro, sis, and Jo Jo showed up. Played Phase 10, and now I'm back.

Huskies beat Cardinals!!!!!! -- WOOHOO!!! Awesome game.

O'Dea won 3A State over Rainier Beach!!!

Sonics lost to Detroit...

M's beat Padres in Spring Training

"Yeah I live for little moments
When she steals my heart again and doesn't even know it
Yeah I live for little moments like that."

-- Name that song! Nobody got it yet...Jeremy's come up with "what's his face."

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY!

Oh, and I finally got a watch. It will be brought over from Hong Kong when my dad comes home.

And I am so screwed this week. 4 page paper due the 10th. 20 page paper due the 11th. Final the 12th. SO GODDAMN SCREWED!!!!

"Yeah I live for little moments
When she steals my heart again and doesn't even know it
Yeah I live for little moments like that."

-- Name that song!

Not a whole lot happening today. Went home for dinner and was stuck in traffic, thus making the commute 45 mins instead of the usual 20 mins. But I was on the phone with Candace, so that wasn't a big deal.

Originally we had all planned on going to Canada (be it Whistler or Vancouver) from March 22-25 as a bit of a road trip, but I'm not really excited about it, so I think that I'm gonna cancel on the crew. Besides, I'd be the only single going, and well...I never look forward to being a 5th wheel. So instead I'll just hang around and not really do anything in Seattle. Besides, Candace comes back from Cali on the 23rd, so I might as well spend as much time with her as possible before she leaves for Rome on the 25th!

So anyway...tonight had dinner at home, and well...not really doing anything. I'll prolly be spending the latter half of this evening looking up resources online and working on that damn paper for SMA 499Q. I hate that class. Sigh...this quarter's almost over and I couldn't be happier about it!

Well, it's time to get more info on coffee...coffee coffee coffee...wow, I just got ridiculously sidetracked from posting...damn.

Oh, I still have Girl Scout cookies. I think that I've eaten maybe 2 Samoas outta the 2 boxes of Samoas I have, not to mention the Thin Mints, and the Shortbread.

P.S. Oh yes...Erin upgraded Sean, Jeremy, and Josh's South Park caricatures at Sliptide.

|

Oh today was a good day...

Sleep is good.

Work was pretty uneventful (as usual) but I got some more leases signed, so my rent is even cheaper! Woohoo!

Got off work at 6pm, went to pick up the Twig and met Sean, Erin, Dave, and the Tool at B116 for a night of movie watching and hanging out. Saw Broken Lizard's Club Dread at PP11 (go student discount!) which was quite an entertaining movie. I give it 8 machetes outta 10. Not as enjoyable as the cult classic Super Troopers, but still entertaining. PEE-NA-LOPE!!! Oh good times.

After movie Derek, Sean, Jarf, and I came back to B116 to hang out for awhile. Totally awesome. Hanging out is very fun. And Erin (a.k.a. Penelope) made these HILARIOUS South Park characters of us all...

Check us out!!

Man they are super good. I think that the ones of Ben, Jared, and Derek are the best. I mean, they are just so thuper... ;)

Lotsa good quotes from tonight, but I honestly don't remember them right now...I will in time...eventually...

Sat on Mr. Josh Webb's bed and I'm just hoping that I don't get pink eye or something...both Webbs have it and I'm scared...Not to mention the fact that Jared, Derek, Sean, and Dave were passing herpes around earlier...I think I'm just gonna get a disease everytime I come here to B116 or hang out with them...sigh.

And they have at least 2 mosquitos (damn those little buggers) flying around here, so maybe I'll get some other disease from getting bitten by them too! Oh great...

Last night consisted of going over to Kairu's house where we made
Coq au Vin. Quite tasty indeed. So we had that, mashed potatoes, spinach, and some sauteed mushrooms. My mom, brother, and sister came over, and we all enjoyed the tasty meal. Made too much coq au vin though and we couldn't get the cognac to flame, which made us sad. Next time...next time...flambe!! hehehe...After that, the fam went home and I stayed at Kairu's. Watched America's Next Top Model 2 where Camille finally got kicked off...man she was a biatch. Then watched a new ep of Queer Eye which wasn't that great, watched some Family Guy on Adult Swim. Kairu totally thought I was weird for liking the show. It was the episode where the Griffins are put in the Witness Protection Program and move to the deep south. Not the best introductory episode, or best episode period, but it was entertaining (to me) nonetheless. Then I went back to my aunt's house, watched more TV (I seem to be doing a lot of that lately) and went to bed.

Here's the watch my family is thinking of getting me for my 21st bday. Comments are most welcome. Chopard or Piaget? (For the Piaget, you're gonna have to click on men's collection and upstream).

Alright, enough of this "remote blogging" as Chunk calls it.

Time to leave and go to sleep. Have a good one all! *muah*

Oh the Oscars made me happy...

It was a clean sweep of 11 Academy Awards for the wonderful The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King. SO HAPPY!

Oscars were good...fashions were pretty good overall although I have no idea what in the hell Uma Thurman was thinking with that Christian Delacroix thing she was wearing...good God...milk maid collided with a bunch of lace...all gone wrong.

I called quite a few of those Oscar winners correctly (I rule) and those that I didn't...there's always next year to try my luck.

Work was pretty uneventful today...people paying rent...although there was this couple looking for a place for the bf named Jordanna and Jordan. That's just weird. That'd be like me going out with someone named Jess or Jesse. bleh...

Mr. Jeremy Webb has become quite the face of local tv with his various appearances on snippets of interviews, game clips, and whatnot.

I have lotsa Girl Scout cookies at the house that my mom bought...if anyone wants some, just holla at me.

These are the classes I'm currently signed up for:

1457 ART H 400 A 3.0 ART H AND CRITICISM MW 1030-1150 ART 006 LOCKER,J
8582 ART H 400 B 3.0 ART H AND CRITICISM TTh 1000-1120 ART 003 CLAUSEN,M

7798 UCONJ 503 U 1.0 INTERNATIONL HEALTH Th 530- 650P HST T439 HUNT,D

Obviously I shant be taking all of them...that'd be rather insane. Even though it adds up to 17 credits. Ridiculous. So happy that this quarter is almost over...I'm just counting down the days til March 12th when I am all done.

Not much else for now...sleep soon (hopefully).
