Well hello there...

Insanely busy schedule I've been keeping...

Work, then Christmas Eve we went to Adrian & Jami's house with the family for dinner...about 20 people at that one. Alex is about 15 months now and he's just the cutest thing EVER!! Well, close to my sister. =P Then Christmas was here at home with 20+ people, which was insane but so much fun. Didn't go to bed til about 5am. KFC came to town yesterday (Katarina, Francesca, and Cassandra, my cousins from Cali) and my uncle and his new bride-to-be (#3) are coming in today. Last night everyone came back over and we had another 20+ people and I didn't go to bed til about the same time.

Woke up at 11am to get ready to go to work. Went to work and then called Mary at 1pm...only to find out that I DIDN'T HAVE TO WAKE UP THIS MORNING TO GO TO WORK. Why you might ask? Because I didn't have to work today!! Wow, I feel special.

Found out that I don't need to go to work til the 30th...why didn't I remember this?!?!?!?! =P So then I went down to the Village where there were tons of people shopping and got some wonderful Jamba Juice to reward myself. And now I think I'll make pancakes for lunch...dinner later in Chinatown and then watching The Return of the King (again) with my cousins.

Thursday and Friday were full of shopping, and Saturday (yesterday) was work then the Secret Santa Party!!

It was at Angela's place and everyone eventually showed up! I think it went well...everyone exchanged gifts and seemed to like them! As this year's Santa, I knew who had me, and Cindy totally rocked cuz she got me one of those Disney Winnie the Pooh fleece blankets I had eyed on earlier trips with Candace and my mom to the Disney Store. Thanks!!

Hung out, Candace and Karina made cake, I brought a zucchini loaf, we ordered pizza...and Angela and a couple of her friends went to buy some Rossi...nasty "wine." Did not partake in the comsumption of alcoholic beverages. Or "adult" beverages, as those Webbs like to refer to them as. Played a couple "games" -- if you can call them that...I suppose...anyway, we passed around a sheet of paper saying how we've changed...and we were all pretty dorky with our answers, cuz you really can't think of major ways that you've changed, I suppose...everyone thinks that they've stayed the same from when they graduated high school, but that's really not the case...everyone changes...

Then we played the game where you pass around a sheet of paper with one person's name at the top and write down something about them...they were so funny...and I -- of course -- kept them as memorablia and keepsakes of the night. I'll bring them out in a few years and we'll all laugh at how crazy we were...and still are, mind you! ;)

Today went to work (yay) got covered in sawdust from breaking down the lamenate flooring boxes....that was not a fun job. Then went to pick up Kairu after work at 4pm to go to George's house to reheat and ready dinner for 25. I think everything turned out well! We had salad, Russian caviar, foie gras, dips, crackers, pork loin, lobster salad, honey baked mashed sweet potatoes, rice, stew, mussels, bread...croissant pudding, cake, jello...we had a TON of food and didn't even finish it all! =P But isn't that the way it always happens...hehehe...after that we hung around talking (which was great) then played some Supersmash Brothers for Gamecube and shot some pool with my brother. I win, I win!!

A couple times during Smash Brothers, my sister (as Kirby) and George (as some random character...Pikachu everytime they ended up fighting each other at the end, I believe) ended up the last two left. Then George was kind enough to let my sister win...she's so excited and was like "No, I really beat him!! I'm better than he is!" She's so cute...sometimes...hehehe...

And even though it's only 11pm, I'm tired and want to go to bed...well, I'll prolly end up watching TV til God knows when and THEN I'll go to bed. Work tomorrow (but only for 2 hours, thank God), then if the Silverdaleans are up to it, I might drive on over...we'll see what happens. Enough outta me...4 days til Christmas!! Better get all those presents!!! *MUAH*

And grades aren't posted yet, which has me curious...at least for one, since my Econ TA said that he had posted the grades oh, last Friday or something...stupid man. Though I think I'd rather check my grades after Christmas...hmm...I'll have to think about that one...I'll sleep on it... ;)

Well today, after waiting forever (well, about 3 or 4 years, really) I have finally seen the last installment of The Lord of the Rings movie trilogy. I get giddy when I see the previews on TV, if that gives you any indication as to how excited I am for this movie.

I adore the books and when I heard that Peter Jackson and New Line were making movies of Tolkien's epic...I was ecstatic. Beyond belief...

And speaking of "beyond belief," I am totally awe-struck and amazed by what I've seen. I honestly believe that the trilogy are masterpieces which should really be considered for Oscar contention, as much as the Academy typically doesn't really go for the fantasy/sci-fi -- anything other than drama, a good musical, or comedy -- genre.

The movie gets 10 outta 10 rings from me. And the trilogy as a whole gets 20 outta 10 rings...especially if you get the Special Extended Version DVDs...they are magical, add so much more to the story, and for one who has read The Lord of the Rings multiple times, it's even better!! =D

Went downtown with Jared and Derek, window shopped, saw The Return of the King, the 3rd and final installment of Jackson's epic monumental movie-making history of a trilogy, picked up Ben, went to Olive Garden (I had eaten 1/2 a raspberry croissant at Starbucks before the movie and about 1/2 way through the movie, my stomach grumbled like crazy for about 5 minutes...it was REALLY loud and I was REALLY embarrassed...), hit up Best Buy and bought lots of things, went back to the boys' apt, hung out with Sean, Erin, and Trent, and now am back at my aparment still excited over the movie!! I'm crazy, I know. (And I'm still riding the high from watching it...hehehe...)

Been planning the HNA/O'DEA Secret Santa Party, which has taken up quite a bit of time...getting things organized and all that...still actually in the process of finalizing plans, really...but it should be wonderful! The party's on Friday at Angela's, so hopefully everyone can make it...meh.

Tomorrow is veg out day, as Friday will prolly be as well...then Saturday is work, then party. Party party party...

Sunday will be maybe work/not work and go to Kairu's for cooking for the annual "Family" Bank Christmas Party at Elizabeth's house in Bellevue...should be interesting in terms of cooking...but fun at the same time! Last night Candace, Kairu, and I met up with George at the "big" Starbucks in the Village and talked about the menu and whatnot...it was fun. Then Candace came over and we ended up watching Queer Eye and last week's ER that I had taped.

And now I'm kinda spent. Very tiring but wonderfully fun day today. Derek leaves for LA tomorrow, Austine gets back from Hanover on Saturday, and Candace leaves for LA on Sunday...it's gonna be a busy busy week...but so much fun at the same time. Alright, that's enough outta me...this is the longest post I've had in a while...take care, Happy Holidays, and be safe out there! There's a plethora of psycho drivers on the road! Scary...*shudder* *MUAH*

I am so happy to finally be done with this quarter!!!!!!!!!!!!

Off to the Village for a little fun in the...night cold...yeah...but I don't care cuz I'm done with finals!!! WOOHOO!!!!

Hugs and kisses for all!!!!! *MUAH*

Don't know why, but even though I have 2 finals tomorrow (Psychobiology of Women at 10:30am and SIS 200 at 2:30pm), I'm really not that freaked out...although I feel that I should be...ack.

Friday's Econ final wasn't too terrible...I actually answered all the questions, so hopefully that helps. BLEH.

I will be so incredibly happy, excited, and relieved tomorrow when I'm finally done with this damn quarter. Let's hope I do well!

To all those who're done with finals...you're bastards, but congrats! To those who aren't quite done yet (like me) GOOD LUCK!! =)

1 FINAL DOWN, 3 TO GO...

Had Art History today and I think it went pretty well! Either that or I'm so relieved to be done that I don't care anymore...hehehe...So now I'll relax for a bit and then get cracking tomorrow and Thursday on Econ...that's on Friday.

I also picked an application for the English Department's Spring Quarter in Rome from March 26-June 7. Sounds pretty interesting and I think that I'd like to do it! Hopefully I can...Rome is awe-inspiring and I love it. So we'll see what happens with this one!

That's about it for now, more later. Take care and good luck on finals everyone!! *MUAH*

Tonight was fun!!

Work (not really fun), had a snack, went out with Candace to Best Buy and Northgate Mall...bought some delightful entertainment items at Best Buy as always...I swear, there's a 95% chance that I will walk in there and buy something...hehehe...got some good Christmas gift ideas from all that window shopping we did, which was great.

After that, Candace dropped me off at my apt, I had a little food and headed on over to the boys' apt. Lotsa people there tonight...way more than Drunken Trivial Pursuit Night...only this was Sober Cranium and Scattegories...good times had by all! People brought games, food, and fun!

We should do that again, all!! Then stayed up talking to the people who were awake and leftover, which eventually dwindled down to myself, Jarf, and Lyn, Josh's friend from class. Talked for quite a bit, she dropped me off at my car, and now here I am finishing the blog so that I can go to bed...must work later today and then cook later with Kairu, so I'll need to be awake...at least semi-awake...yeah...

That's all for now. Have a wonderful sleep/night/whatever everyone! *muah*

Classes are almost over! This is so exciting!!

Jared, Derek, and I finished watching Band of Brothers last night...good times, good times...

Not doing a whole hell of a lot lately...tomorrow work, dinner, then "Game Night," which should be totally fun and exciting!!
Sunday is work then cooking at Kairu's house.

First Final is on Tuesday for ART H, which is a little unnerving. Then Friday the 12th for ECON, and Tuesday the 16th I have SIS and PSYCH/WOMEN...and then I'm done for the quarter!! It's gone by so quickly...

Oh, and my mom bought me Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl which I LOVE!! Orlando Bloom and Johnny Depp are so hot...hehehe...alright, not much else to say.

Congrats to Trent on getting into the Rome Program!!

Well I did absolutely NOTHING this weekend, which was absolutely wonderful...I don't remember the last time I felt this relaxed about doing absolutely nothing.

Saturday went and picked Candace up from the airport, then we dropped her stuff off at her apartment, went to B&O Espresso for linner, as I like to call it (a combo lunch/dinner...like brunch) ;) since we both hadn't eaten lunch yet. It was around 2pm or so. then we decided to just drive around, which was nice. Driving and talking...very theraputic for me. Eventually went back to my house, chilled for a bit, and then headed to Chinatown for dinner with the fam. Dinner over, we headed to Karina's house to meet up with her and Aimee. Hung out at Ina's, watched Bruce Almighty...it was ok. Wasn't wonderful, but it had it's moments. Glad I watched it on DVD than in the theater.

Talked and chilled the rest of the time, left around 2am, took Candace home, I went home, and went to bed. Sunday went to work and didn't do much after that. I ended up staying at my house for the entire weekend (except Sunday night), which was not what I was originally planning to do. But it's all good...nice to be with the fam.

Today went to work and have to do my ART H paper due tomorrow...it's only 5 pages so it's not bad at all. Plus I've written on the subject before, so it should all come back to me pretty quickly. So I shall stop slacking and get back to that now so I can try and get some sleep tonight. Hope everyone's weekend was great! Sonics and Seahawks won! Yay Seattle sports! ;) *muah*

P.S. Oh yeah...who's excited for The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King to come out?! I AM!!! So ridiculously excited...I am so going on the 1st day!! Who's with me?! (Esp since Austine is breaking tradition and coming home the 20th...tradition-breaking-woman!! hahaha...j/k! I love you!) =D
