I'm tan, I'm back, and I wish I was still boogie boarding in the coastal waters of Oregon.

We didn't have the best weather for the first few days, but then it started clearing up and we got some great weather for the last few days starting Thursday.

Got some color on these pasty legs of mine, played a bunch of cards -- I practically cleaned up at poker, watched some movies, did some shopping (outlets and no tax...how much better can it get?!), did some cooking, talking, driving nice cars, being a beach bum, boogie boarding, swimming in the ocean, played some DDR, caught snippets of the Olympics, there was some adult beverage consumption, walking along the sand, staying up late, did a little hot tubbing, bonding with the family, singing along to oldies in the car, Roni and Al got married for the 2nd time...and that's all I can recall as of the moment.

It was a pretty relaxing and not-so-relaxing week at the same time. But that's pretty much how all family vacations are.

I'm still a bit sore from boarding and getting a bit water logged though...but it was totally worth it.

And I'm spent.

Have to go to work tomorrow but I'll be watching the 2nd showing of the Closing Ceremonies, so that'll keep me up for awhile...we'll see how long I last.

Hope everyone had a great week! Thanks to Jeremy for providing me with some laughter today as I listened to his drunk vmail...

So it's been awhile...

My aunt's 60th birthday was on August 6th so we had dinner for 40 people...tons of food, friends, and family, so it was a lot of fun.

My cousin Brian got married on August 7th...good times and congrats to the newlyweds!

Went to Casey's going away party which was fun. Hope you're doing well in Cedarville, Case!

Celebrated Bethiel's 21st birthday by going out to Gordon Biersch and a movie (not the typical 21st birthday, huh?).

Hung out with Sean, Erin, and Derek we played some Texas Hold 'Em...to which Erin and I won...hehehe

Just got back from Rover's in Madison Park after a 4 hour marathon dinner session. Had some good food...most people would prolly cringe at the thought of what I ate, so I won't be giving any details, but if you can guess correctly you might win a nice little prize. Like the little truffles and candied fruits I brought back...

The Olympics have been on, in case you've been living inside a cave with no connections to the outside world...I've been trying to follow as closely as I can since my favorite Summer Olympic sports are on during the first week (swimming, diving, and gymnastics).

Work has been pretty hectic so it's been taking up time...the house is nearing completion (prolly won't be completely done til September though).

Anyway, tired, gonna sleep in tomorrow since I don't have to work (don't be jealous, I work 6 days a week).

Gotta pick up my car from the shop, work, hang out with some peeps, and start packing before I leave for the Oregon Coast from the 22nd to the 29th!

Have a good one and I'll be posting...sometime in the (near) future! ;)

Sooo...M's aren't doing so hot...

The house is looking better and better...although it's taking a long time for them to finish...

My aunt has been a slave driver and doesn't seem to understand the fact that we all have to work and are goddamn tired when we get home and really aren't up to fixing the house until 1:30am in goddamn morning.

I'm exasperated...

I'm tired...

It hasn't been the most fun since I've gotten back from Chicago.

But oh well, hopefully it'll get better soon.

Bought my Husky football and basketball tickets so hopefully there'll be people to go with me to the games! =P

Alright, enough jabber.
